today was qt a tiring day... but learnt alot. went maternity where we got a lecture on different methods of sedation tt was mostly above my head but i gained something impt from it:that epidurals are the best sedatives for labour pains and it can be found in singapore! yay. i also found out tt giving birth is DISGUSTING. like seriously gross ok. as in. we have seen so many operations and stuff tt we din find gross at all, but today while watching the vaccum delivery me and char were like squirming and pretending to puke. there was like blood and discharge pouring out and the hole was like how big lah. ouch. super super gross ok. and, it turns out tt our first death is a baby after all. one of the women gave birth to this baby tt was severly deformed. its legs were like turned in and its arms were very long and dangly and it had an extra finger on its back, complete with nail! and oso it had spina bifida. but the one tt killed it was diaphrammatic hernia. so yah it was like gasping for breathe on the table and we couldnt do anything. it died like abt half an hour after... saddest sight i ever saw. we really felt for the mother because its her second pregnancy. the first was a stillborn! yah. and summore the birth was super traumatic for her. they thought it could be natural at first but it got stuck so they had to vaccum it out and like there was so much blood cos they had to cut the cervix and i think the anesthesia didnt work properly or something cos she was screaming like mad when they cut and when they sewed it back up. there was like mountains of blood lah. and she shitted oso. so yah. qt gross. and she must have been so sad. go thru all tt just for the child to die and be deformed like mad summore.cos she has hypertension and she married a relative so yah. cognous marraige or something like that. apparently they found out abt the diaphrammatic hernia earlier on and reccommended an abortion but she didnt want. aiyah. i dunno soethimes abortion is better? i think so anyway. and char was thinking of obs and gyne at first but after today NO WAY! haha. and i never wanted anyway. gosh having to stick ur fingers up pples vagina everyday like so many times a day... no thanks man. yah and a baby peed on me!i was qt upset haha. started screaming and all the nurses laughed like mad lah. stupid baby :s obviously i bathed and soaked my clothes for REALLY long after tt. i have decided NEVER to give birth. if i do it will be a cesarean. esp if i hear the words vaccum anytime during labour. it is seriously the most disgusting and horrifying thing i have ever seen. dun think i can sleep tonight. u noe, after the babies head come out, they just grab the neck and TUG. the first time we saw, we thot the head will come off lah. not say pull gently lah. its like TUGGING. oh man. cant believe someone did tt to me. holy moley. it will take me a while to get over this haha.
